735 recruits pass out from ITBP centre

From The Times Of India March 9, 2014 BHANU( PANCHKULA): A passing-out ceremony of 735 recruits was held at the Basic Training Centre of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Bhanu, near here, on Wednesday. ITBP director general Subhash Goswami was the chief guest. Toppers of the batch of the GD cadre who underwent a 44-week training at the centre were awarded with various excellence and bravery awards. "It is a great day for us. We were given rigorous training for 44 weeks. We are mentally and physically fit to serve our nation. From this very moment, I am feeling the responsibility of serving my country", said Tara Chand Joshi, a trainee. The DG said, "I am so glad to see another batch of young brigade ready to serve the nation. It is a proud day for me as I met a batch of enthused young recruits who will shine like stars. I wish all of them work with honesty, discipline, loyalty and enthusiasm." Parents of these recruits were also present on the occasion. "I always wanted my son to be an officer. I wanted to see him in the uniform.
