CRPF & LOCAL POLICE RECOVER EXPLOSIVES FROM DURGADHA FOREST

The Hazaribagh police have recovered huge quantity of explosives from the Durgadha forest of Chauparan block on Friday during area domination drive of the forest areas of Jharkhand-Bihar border. SP Manoj Kaushik said that the explosives were found hidden in the forest and it seems that the Naxal ultras have kept it for creating panic and disturbing the forthcoming elections.
SP Manoj Kaushik informed that the joint team of police and CRPF recovered three cylinder bombs, five cane bombs, five pressure cooker bombs, five gelatins, five detonators and wires form the forest.
The expert team of Hazaribagh police today diffused the bombs in presence of SP. SP Kaushik said that we have got information that the left ultras are planning to disturb the election and preparations are going on to have blasts at many places to create panic. This seizure has been made after getting concrete information by our sources.
DIG PR Das also confirmed that all the seized bombs have been successfully diffused today. He said that the area domination drive is going on to sanitize entire area before the election. Besides local police teams the jawans of CRPF are also taking part in this drive.
The team which recovered the cache of ammunition from the extreme naxal affected area of Chouparan block which is near to Jamunitiyari village of Dahair panchayat was led by Barhi Police Inspector Akhilesh Kumar, OIC Chouparan Suresh Ram, Deputy Commandant of 22 Battalion of CRPF BK Srivastava, Assistant Commandant Ajay Kumar, Nitish Kumar and others were the member of this team
