CRPF discovers 30 kg can bomb in West Singhbhum

Yesterday, a strong bomb, which can kill thousands of lives, was fixed on a road of Gundijora village in naxal-affected West Singhbhum district.

Fortunately, it was discovered before its explosion when CRPF as well as District Armed Police personnel were on routine guarding in the naxal-affected Saranda forest.

Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar Singh announced that the 30-kg can bomb was fixed on a kucha road because the predator aimed to kill security personnel ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections due in May.

The bomb disposal squad informed its recovery and they reached at the spot on the time.

Finally, the explosive was defused by them and the area is safe now.

The case has been registered and the investigation is on to capture the predator.
