Paramilitary force CRPF has planted 1,000 saplings in the
national capital to mark the World Environment Day today.
The plantation drive was undertaken by the 46th battalion of
the force deployed here.
"The drive was undertaken in Mayur Vihar and
neighbouring areas where the force personnel live. A total of 1,000 saplings
have been planted by our staff in the last few days," Central Reserve
Police Force Commanding Officer Sudhir Kumar said.
